The user of the IÐNÚ publication website is bound by the provisions of these terms. Payment method
You can order online or by phone at 517-7200 and pay by credit card or bank transfer. If the payer chooses a bank transfer, payment information is sent by email. The order is not processed until confirmation of a transfer has been received from the buyer at the email address [email protected].
Also, some IÐNÚ version products are available in selected stores in the capital area and several places in the countryside. All orders received via the Internet or telephone are processed the next business day.
Security
It is 100% safe to shop on IÐNÚ's online store. The most advanced web keys are used in cooperation with Kortasjónvarpiðin ehf. in order to ensure the security of card numbers when shopping at idnu.is. As soon as the customer decides to buy a product, he enters a locked environment where all information about the transaction, including the card numbers, is encrypted. Mail delivery
Íslandspóstur distributes all orders for IÐNÚ's online store, and thus Íslandspóst's delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of the product. According to this, IÐNÚ is not responsible for any damage that may occur to a product in transit. If the product suffers damage from the time it is sent from IÐNÚ's online store and until it reaches the recipient, the damage is the carrier's responsibility.
The country is all one fee area and the tariff is determined by IÐNÚ and can change without notice. If you shop from idnu.is between countries, there are higher shipping costs and that cost will be stated before you complete your purchase of the site.
Right of return and liability
Reimbursement of products purchased at idnu.is can only occur if products are defective or damaged. The general return period for defective or damaged products is 30 days. You can return a defective or damaged product and get a new one instead upon presentation of an invoice. If the product is defective, idnu.is pays the shipping costs incurred in returning the product and shipping a new product, but otherwise shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
In most cases, books can be exchanged with us in IÐNÚ's store in Brautarholt 8, provided that the books are for sale in the store, are still unopened and in plastic if they are sold that way. However, the seller separates himself/herself from assessing each case individually.
