A completely different issue/Icelandic for foreigners

The trigger for this textbook was my and my students' urgent need for suitable teaching materials in Icelandic for foreigners who have reached the 4th or 5th semester of high school. The intention of these texts is mainly to improve the students' vocabulary and also to give them very little insight into the lives of typical Icelanders.

The book does not have any actual grammar tasks, but on the other hand, the first part of it is all kept in the present and most of the second part in the past tense The book consists of 15 chapters and a new theme is introduced to the story in each chapter The idea is that one chapter is read per week. Each chapter has three texts and each text is accompanied by two tasks. The first task is always a vocabulary task, while the second varies.
